Scrap Fabric Owl

After making my jumper cushion my cat seemed to take a real liking to it so I made him a little owl for him out of the scraps I had left over from my cushion:

Owl template design on paper

Pinned owl template onto the scrap fabric

Cut the owl out of the fabric

Sewed the owl together leaving a gap 

Turned it the right way around

 Stuffed with polyester filling and hand sewed the gap

Embellished the owl with buttons and a embroidered beak (I made sure the buttons were very secure)
