Paper Fortune Cookies!

Combining my love of food and crafts!  I love getting fortune cookies at the Chinese, I thought I would try and make my own out of card seeing as I am not sure I could master it out of the lovely sweet pastry stuff they use...

Fluffy Little Cloud

I have been crafting again :-) and this is the latest creation from my craft room :-):
Felt Cloud Art

My little fluffy cloud has been created by the technique of wet felting.  I created a blue base from 2 different blues I had in my stash and put a white blob in the middle and soaped up and wet felted away :-) Once I had felted it I made the cloud much more fluffy 3D and defined using the technique of needle felting :-)

All my art and creations are created using environmentally friendly materials and UK Suppliers.

My Fluffy Little Cloud is now available to buy on Etsy

Feel free to contact me if you would like a specific piece made :-)

Mosquito Repellent without the Nasties

Mosquito repellent traditionally has all sorts of nasties in them like DEET, parabens and other chemicals you don't want to be smothering over your body every day when you are on holiday.

If you are someone like me who gets covered in mosquito bites when they go on holiday, but don't fancy being covered in the traditional nasty chemical laden DEET repellents for the whole time they are there, then there is a new repellent on the market that is nasties free and in my opinion works waaay better than traditional repellents!!!
